Life Path Number: Meaning & How to Calculate It
Your life path number comes from your birth date. It’s the number most people start with — a broad read on how you tend to move through work, relationships, and the long arc of a life.
What is a life path number?
Reduce your full date of birth to a single digit from 1 to 9, or keep a master number: 11, 22, or 33. Think of it like a sun sign: a high-level map, not a script for every day.
Calculate yours on the homepage, then open the meaning page for that number.
How to calculate your life path number
Add the month, day, and year. Reduce each part, then reduce the total. Keep 11, 22, and 33 if they appear.
- Example: 14 August 1990 → day 1+4 = 5, month 8, year 1+9+9+0 = 19 → 1. Then 5 + 8 + 1 = 14 → 1 + 4 = 5.
- Sum the reduced day, month, and year, then reduce again unless you land on a master number.
- Or skip the arithmetic and use the calculator.
